Strawberry Infused Hibiscus Tea

It is getting hot here in the bluegrass state! Temperatures are projected to be in the 90’s for the next few days. How is one to cool down? One way I’ve been keeping cool is by enjoying this amazingly refreshing strawberry infused hibiscus tea. Trust me, it’s as good as it looks and is so easy to make. I hope you’ll give this tea a try and find it to be as pleasing as we do on these hot farm days!

Strawberry Infused Hibiscus Tea

Ashley Lemr
Lightly sweetened and infused with fresh picked strawberries, this ice cold hibiscus tea is the definition of refreshing.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Servings 16 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon water
  • 8 bags wild berry hibiscus tea
  • 1/2 cup honey (raw and local preferred)
  • 1-2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)

Instructions

  • In a large pot, bring one gallon of water to a boil.
  • Turn off heat and add tea bags. Allow to steep for approximately 10 minutes. Remove tea bags. *Caution* Tea is very hot! Use appropriate safety precautions when removing bags!
  • While the tea is still slightly warm, add honey and stir well.
  • Pour tea into pitcher and add sliced strawberries according to preference. I add closer to 2 cups to ours because we like to keep things sweet around here!
  • Add ice and enjoy! (Keep additional tea refrigerated.)
