Old Fashioned Lemonade
A few days ago my little Farmer Boy got a craving for lemonade and asked if we could make some ourselves. I checked our pantry, and fortunately we had just enough lemons to make up a tall pitcher of our own freshly squeezed lemonade. Immediately after taking the first sip, he enthusiastically said that it would be great to sell at the Farmer’s Market and asked if he could set up a stand! Farmer Boy is his daddy made over and they both share an entrepreneurs mentality.
We normally just stick to good ol’ water here in the Farmhouse, but making up a weekly pitcher of this classic refresher has now become routine. We work hard around here, so this lemonade is especially enjoyable on the days when the humidity is sky high! If the temperatures are rising in your neck of the woods, I hope you will try this for yourself and will enjoy it as much as we do here on the Farm.
